Hi, all.

How can I select rows not by scrolling down with a mouse on a scroll bar?

For example, I want to select from Cell 4 to Cell 1500(A, B, C, D....... Columns doesn't matter. In this case, if I click on "4" then, it selects all the columns).
Sometime, if there is too much rows like, 1500, 2000...it is very hard to scroll down all the way, or it is easily scrolled until the end, 63555(?) which we don't want.

Is there any way to select to jump to the designated cell?

thank you a million in advance.[flowerface]

Thank you SkipVought, a billion.

But, that is only jumping to the cell, not selecting the whole cells.

Select your top left cell
then press
CTRL+SHIFT+END
This will select your ENTIRE set of data
OR
Select top left cell
Press SHIFT+END+RIGHT

Press SHIFT+END+DOWN

this will select the current BLOCK of data

Just a little addition!

CTRL+* will select all contiguous cells to the active cell (doesn't have to be the top left cell, though the top left cell will become the active cell in the selection.)

SHIFT+CTRL+(any direction key, depending on the data to select) will do exactly the same as xlbo has mentioned above. Just a different key combo!

tnx all. Worth to get a star!

How about designating a Cell number? No?

Well in your original post your description of Cell Number was actually referring to Row number, so try doing F5 and typing 4:1500 <Enter> and see if that does what you want.

This starts the Goto command, and allows you to type a reference and pressing <Enter> executes the Goto.

Cheers, Glenn.

THANK YOU ALL!

I finally got the answer from the accumulatons of all you guys' answers.

Because I tested from SkipVought's suggestion, there was history in GoTo command. And I could read what it means with "$ mark" .
I typed $4:$1500 =>It Exaclty selects from Row 4(As GlennUK pointed out) to Row 1500!!

Thank you all you guys!!! Lov this site very Much!!! [wavey3]
