I am trying to set up a spreadshhet for a youth football program. I use the following to get age of kids
=DATEDIF('Football Roster'!C7,"2002/8/1","Y") C7 being Date of birth the answers I get are correct if except if DOB is blank then I recieve 102. What I need is in another cell to to show me what team kid should be on. Example
if kid is 5 or 6 I need "D" returned 7,8,9 "C" 10,11 "B"
12,13,14 "A" Plus if "102" I would like "Check DOB". Thanks

I used a vlookup table in cols E and F

E F
5 D
6 D
7 C
8 C
9 C
10 B
11 B
12 A
13 A
14 A

Then in col D, the vlookup formula looks to the value returned by the datedif() function in Col C

=IF(ISERROR(VLOOKUP(C1,$E$1:$F$10,2,FALSE))=TRUE,"Check D.O.B.",VLOOKUP(C1,$E$1:$F$10,2,FALSE))

THANK YOU. Works great. You have saved the little hair I have left.
