For what purpose? Why can't you use the header or footer?

Hi Glenn,
The reason is for printing the right position of a customer receipt. As the logo is quite large, so I need to place the page number display to another position. Any way I can do it ?

Sure, but you have to be certain of where the page breaks occur. View/Page Break Preview should give you a start. You will need to EXPLICITLY control the page numbering. However, if your content is dymanic, this may be a nightmare to control.
