Trying to create a list of usernames for import into Microsoft 2003 server. I have an excel spreadsheet with firstname, lastname and want to combine the first character of the firstname and the whole of the surname into one cell, can anyone help?

+concatenate(left(A1,1)," ",B1)

where firstname is in cell A1, and lastname is in cell B1
