Does anyone know how to add cells of one column depending on the values of cells in another column.
For Example:

C D
100 Shirt
200 Shoes
100 Shirt
300 Shirt

The formula would say if for example add up all values in c where the corresponding cell in D = Shirts
and the cell would equal 500.

I would like to maintain the current row order without sorting based on row D and subtotaling
