Hi all, one of my co-workers is trying to figure out a way to have a date on a cell that will show the last revised date, not the current date. Is there a simple formula that will do this? I googled and searched but couldn't find anything.

Many thanks

Hi,

Not without VBA code.

Are you referring to the last revised as...

when was the workbook last saved?

when was any change in the workbook last made, but not necessarily saved?

when as a change made on a worksheet?

when was a change made on a row?

Each of them could have a date/time associated.

It would be when a change was made and saved on a worksheet and it would be on a worksheet or a row (if that makes sense). Sorry I am getting this second hand and the end user is an Excel Newbie.

Thanks again.

You would actually have to use the Worksheet_Change event and insert the Date/Time appropriately, using VBA code.

Please post in Forum707 to get specific help with this approch.
