OK, this could be easy, I just don't know where to start.

I have a worksheet with the data:
Code:
[blue]STATUS Team Leader Team Member Other info[/blue]
Active Andy Bob Whatever
Avtive Bob Some Info
Deleted Andy Blah blah blah
Active Andy Susie ........
On Hold Bill Janet ........
Active
....
How can I filter the records to get only rows where 'Andy' is either a 'Team Leader' or a 'Team Member'? 1st, 3rd and 4th row of data, copy it and paste to another sheet.

Have fun.

I'd use AdvancedFilter

Hope This Helps, PH.

Or add an extra column that looks for "Andy" out of a concatenation of all your cells.......but I'd probably go with the advanced filter too ;-)

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Hi

you have to use advanced filter

with criteria like below
TL TM
Andy blank
blank Andy

this holds for OR condition.

Thanks
