Excel.exe invalid page fault

every time I work in Excel I receive this message:


EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module EXCEL.EXE at 0167:3006de1b.

I can be doing ANYTHING when this happens. If anyone could suggest a fix I would be soooo grateful as the project I'm working on has a deadline....4 days from now.

Excel 2000 9.0.4

Start-Run.
Type regedit and hit enter.
Browse to the following folder:

hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\9.0\excel

Right-click the Excel folder and rename it to OldExcel and hit enter.

Try Excel again.
