Excel error 1

When I try to open a file or edit an Excel file I receive the error message:


You have error System error: -2146697191


I have found several options in Google without success.

Can you provide information on how to resolve this issue?

The repair was done and also the resintallation

Any other ideas?

Is it a problem with one specific excel file or general excel problem?
In the second case, can you work with a new file and save it?
