Hey everyone!
I have exported all mail addresses from my global ad list in outlook, to an excel file. I will import this list in my newsletter tool. The only problem is that our server lists all e-mail addresses like this :"Name, Surname (name@name.com). I only need to keep the e-mail addresses in each row without the rest of the of the text. I have to do this in over 2.000 addresses. Is there a formula or something that could help me?
Thanks everyone

Select all and do data / text to Columsn / delimited / Tick Other and put a ( in there, then hit OK. When done delete column A or just choose not to import in whilst in ther wizard, and then do an edit / replace on ) replacing it with nothing.

Regards
Ken.............

You could do an Edit/Replace with a wildcard. Select the addresses amd do mennu command Edit/Replace and put *( as the "Find What" string, and leave the "Replace With" string as blank. Click the Replace All button.

Do Edit/Replace ) with blank to get rid of the trailing ) on the addresses, and it should look the way you want.

Cheers, Glenn.
