Hi

I have made a conditional format that highlight cells in column K to red when older than so many days, this works ok.

Is it possible to make the cells in column B to also go red if the adjacent cells in K are red.

So where K2 is red then I would like B2 to also be red (although it holds different data

Any ideas please.

Thanks

Hi
if I put in =_10_02_2015 in the clean_treated sheet (where the P column is =$P$5:$P$150)it brings back a date 26/09/2014.
If I copy this down then the dates come in.

If I check against the dates in the range =_10_02_2015 they are there, however not in order as the row count in =_10_02_2015 is more than the rows for P column in clean_treated.

Thanks

I'm really not understanding what you're doing.

If you use the named range IN THE WAY THAT YOU ARE using it, It is returning the value in that range ON THE SAME ROW on the active sheet. So if the named range has MORE rows than there is data on the active sheet, the values in the named range in the rows that exceed the active sheet, will never be accessed. Conversely, if the named range has fewer rows than are in the active sheet, you will get a #VALUE! Error.

This application of named range is very unusual. It is NOT unusual to reference a named range on another sheet AS A LOOKUP via the MATCH() function, but not a row for row return!

Hi

The only way which seemed to work is to bring the values needed onto the active sheet - set a column with either the value needed (in column Q set it to =Data!K ) and then I did the condition in the same sheet.

And after all of this they have upgraded to 2010 so my initial condition now works.

Thanks for your patience and help over the last week or so
