Is it possible to have or set a up or down property to an excel command button like you can to an access one.

I want to be able to change the BackColour when the the button is clicked down and then back again to it's original colour when its up?

Any suggestions would be great

Check out the CommandButton1_MouseDown and CommandButton1_MouseUp events.

In the design mode, doubleclick the control and select the appropriate event.

Hi Skip

I thought about your suggestion before I posted but only mouse propertys listed in the Properties - CommandButton VBA box is MouseIcon and MousePointer.

I am using MS Excel 2003.

Any further suggestions

It is NOT in properties.

I instructed you the DOUBLECLICK the control and then select the EVENT. It is in the Code Window, Upper Right Hand DropDown.

Hi Skip,

Opps, selecting the event from the right hand drop menu was the bit I missed out.

It now works perfectly - thank you, as always.
