Excel automation

Hi,

I installed office 2013 on my windows 7 64bit portable.
Now, excel automation is not working. With office 2010 there were no problems.

oExcelObject = CREATEOBJECT('Excel.Application')

this is the error i get : OLE error code 0x8008005: unknown COM status code

Can anyone give me some advice. Thanks !!!

First, you should start your own thread.

Second, as was said the64bit office applications are automatable in VFP, but as far as I understand you're using Office to retreive DBF data via VFP ODBC, and that only works with Office 32bit, as the VFP ODBC driver is a32bit driver and is only useable from 32bit processes, which means Office 32bit is necessary and for this usage there is no other solution despite migrating data to another source you can read from Office 64bit applications.
