Hello,

is it possible to write a VBA function which sends a mail attached with the Excel file itself (meaning the one the function is in)? I have never done VBA before and really need a solution to that problem as soon as possible. To be exact, I don't even know how to send mails via VBA. If I had more time, I would spend it to further search the web for answers or tutorials, but I am really under time pressure... A quick and dirty solution would suffice. :)

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the native "Send To" functionality in excel (File>Send To>Mailing Recipient as attachment)

USe Tools>Macro>Record New Macro and record yourself performing the action manually. This will give you a starter for 10....

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Thank you. I can't believe I didn't think of this, at least to start with. :)
