Using Excel 97 SR2
Using an ActiveWorkBook.Save command. The workbook is saved but multiple, at last count 17, temp files (temp1, temp2) showing in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
No error messages are being displayed. Have searched MS sites and checked to make sure we have current SR's.
The only way to stop this is to go Task manager and closing Excel from there. This will then remove the temp files.
