Hi guys,
I have problem with my excel lately. I noticed, that having two separate documents open, CTRL + Z is working on both of them at the same time, witch, as you can imagine, is really frustrating. Is there any way to turn that off?
Are you sure about this behavior?
What is "weird" is that CTRL+Z applies to whatever workbook was last acted on, so you may be in one work book, and then CTRL+Z, which will undo the last action on the other workbook, which I agree is annoying... try doing this:
Open 2 Excel files, just new empty workbooks.
Type ABC in the first one in any field.
Type 123 in the second one in any field.
Click on first workbook again.
Type CTRL+Z and Excel will bring the previous page forward, and remove the 123. But the ABC on the first one is still there, it's just switched active window.
Best Regards,
Scott

Yeah sorry, mate. You are right I totally mixed that up. CTRL + Z Undo the last action only on the other workbook. Didn't notice that before, and during some late night work, I get annoyed too quickly. It's working as it should, but still not as I would like lol.
