Problem when using "save as" feature and trying to save spreadsheet as a "95 Workbook" which is required for links to a pagemaker document. Excel shuts down when I try it.
Any suggestions?

95? Wow.

I just tried it and it worked fine for me.

Have you applied any formatting in 2007?

I have been doing this for some time...and it has worked fine..if a create a new spreadsheet..it works...it seems I have a corrupt file....I opened a backup file with the same data....added the additional data since the backup and it shut down and wouldn't allow me to "save as" the format I need...I'm wondering if there are size limits I'm exceeding for that format

How many rows do you have?

I think the maximum number of rows is16,384. Maybe it was less in 95 - I'd have to look it up.

All hail wikipedia!

The limit was, indeed, 16,384 (2^14).

I'm glad you got it sorted out.

John, looks like a DELETE to me, rather than a SORT.

Of course, I'm not privy to the sorted details. ;-)
