Hi... we just upgraded to Excel 2007 and some of the functionality we are used to working with in 2003 appears to have disappeared. We used to be able to drop a CPU/LPAR/Subsystem field into the top of a pivot table chart and then filter the chart to display a given element (CPU/LPAR/Susbsystem). This showed us exactly what we were looking at when studying the graph - e.g., TSO activity on CPUX. It appears the only way to see this now id to add the field to the Axis field box in the lower right hand corner of the Pivot Table Field List. Has anyone got any ideas on this?

I'm not sure I know exactly what you're after....
If you go to the Pivot TABLE (not the chart) and drop an item in Report Filter, then go back to the chart - is that what you're after?

Excel 2003 allowed dropdowns that remained at the top of the pivot chart so you know what you are looking at...for example (a mainframe example)... I select CPUX from the CPU filter/field and can select another filter for Subsystem.. looking at stats for each subsystem on CPUX (or all if selected). The only way I have found to display this stuff is adding it to the Legend (not going to work for our application). The Excel 2010 Beta BLOG I just read says this function is added back... going to try and see if we can get the ok here to try the 2010 Beta... also looking at Tableau..
