Having problems printing a workbook with 13 sheets to it. I do not work with excel very often so frankly not sure what to look for. I checked the printer settings and checked and unchecked collate with no luck. I check to print the entire workbook but this is how it prints out

1 Future 4
2 Equip-3 3
3 Equip-2 3
4 Equip-1 4
5 Drugs 8
6 Projec 7
7 Future-2 6
8 Future-1 5
9 Trans 9
10 Home 10
11 Wheel 11
12 Totals 13
13 Potential 14

the first number is the order it printed in and the second number is where it is in the workbook. All pages are seperate sheets within one workbook.

Is there anyway to get this to print out in the order that it is set up within the workbook? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Your example is not consistent.

1. there are 13 sheets, yet you have a 14.

2. there are 2 3's and 2 4's

3. there is no 1, 2 or 12.

Is column 3, the order of the sheets in the workbook?

9 Transport 9

Unfortunately things don't line up well in this but this is correct. Yes I had an incorrect number or two in there but not sure if that would make much difference to the question. Again each page listed is a seperate sheet. They are not numbered but they are named as indicated above.

The problem seems to be the order in which the worksheets were added. Excel always adds the worksheets to the left of one that is active. Although you rename the worksheets Excel remembers the number of the worksheet. So, I believe, in Excel's case it is printing Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3....etc. I think your choice is to print one worksheet at a time

or

you can try this macro to print them in the order they are:

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
For Sht = 1 To Sheets.Count
Sheets(Sht).PrintOut
Next
End Sub

Ah well that makes sense - I guess. Thanks for the info. At least now I know why it it doing that. Will give the macro a try. Thanks again.
