I have a worksheet with 2 rows charts in it, one at the top and one at the bottom. Is there anyway to add a column to the one at the bottom but leave the one at the top unchanged?

Hi,

Add a column to your source data

Copy the column of data

Activeate the chart you want to change

Edit/Paste Special -- add a series.

Or, you can select the new data and drag it onto the chart. Should give the same result.

Software: XL2002 on Win2K
Humanware: Older than dirt

how do i activate the chart? also, I tried the drag method and it just wanted to replace the old data with the new data so i had to nix that. thanks

thank you but that just replaces the current data with the new data

1. What kind of chart is it?

2. Please describe what the chart looks like.

3. Please post a sample of your source data, inclusing the NEW DATA.

4. When you asked, "Is there anyway to add a column to the one at the bottom..." what did you want to see as a result?
