Hi,

I have been given a spread sheet which is very large. I need to be able to print parts of the sheet (ranges of data, which are in different areas of the sheet, to multipla pages for a report...

Please could someone give me a clue how to do this?

many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Is each range a separate page? If so macro record selecting and printing selection and then generalize for multiple range selections. If you don't know how to specify ranges like that, post your recorded code here and we can help.

If you need to assemble multiple ranges into a single page, that's more complex. Dale Watson has a solution to that faq68-1161 _How To Print Disjointed Ranges on ONE Page. If that FAQ is helpful, be sure to rate it accordingly.

Alternatively, select multiple ranges you want to print (with CTRL key pressed). Next go File>Print area>Set print area. You will have selected areas printed when printing worksheet.

Thanks Skip, that worked, but the picture was "too large" and was truncated". Any clues on how to get over that one,

also I am printing each range on its own separate sheet.

thanks
