I have a spreadsheet which users update using both Excel 97 and Excel 2000. The formula in cell G22 is B22/C22. The formula in G22 is autofilled from the formula above it before the data is entered. On all units it works correctly. On one unit that uses Excel 2000, when the user types a value in B22, C22, D22, E22 and F22, the formula in G22 is modified to B22/F22. Has anyone ever seen this happen?

Excel 2000 formula - Formula cell reference changes

I've never seen this happen, but you can try using $B$22/$C$22. The $ tells the formula that these are constant cells. Just be careful if you try to copy the formula down to other cells, it will not automatically change the formula to use the next row/column.
