I have 2 sheets.
Sheet 1: DataSheet
Sheet 2: Group

When Datasheet!Cell r4 = r, I need Group!Cell p3 to format the cell color to Red. If Datasheet!Cell r4 = b, then I need Group!Cell p3 to format the cell color to Blue. I also need the words Red or Blue to show up as well. That part, I can figure out several ways, but I can not find any way to format the color based on a condition.

You help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!

In the sheet Group!p3 have the formula

=IF(Datasheet!r4="r","RED",IF(Datasheet!r4="b","BLUE","Other"))

now conditionally format Group!p3
cell value equal to "r", format accordingly
cell value equal to "b", format accordingly
