Ex2000 msg appears in Outlook but cannot be deleted.

Item appeared after an exchange crash caused by the system disk going full and someone deleting one too many log files.

The person who did that is dead ;-). However, no way no how can I delete this one item from my inbox and saying it nags the you-know-what out of me is an understatement.

Is there a way to get rid of this message? fyi, it does not appear in web access, only in Outlook XP accessing Exchange 2000 server, and no I do not have a local personal information store.

Someone with enough rights could access the exchange m: drive, locate the mailbox and delete it there. It's probally a corrupt item so you have to take ownership first.
