I have Ex2000 on pdc and i want to replace machine for new hardware what is all step that i need to do ?

Take it one step at a time. Is the existing E2k box a DC for the domain?

Does the new box need to have the same name and IP as the old box? Can the old and new coexist for a while?

yes the new box need to be the same ip addess and the same name becuse it d.c + internal dns
