Evolution doesn't start

Hi guys,

By an electric interruption my PC was powered off abruptally, so my problem now is that evolution want not start. I had the same problem before and I had to reset my account (actually the files of my mail box). I could do that, but my problem is that now I need my mails! the account is configured with pop and I can't leave the mails in the mail server (exchange).

I have Ubuntu installed and Evolution 2.2

Any idea what can I check/modify/do to recover it?
