everything shifting when inserting image

Sorry if my questions is dumb but I am new to dreamweaver. I guess I do not understand why everything else is shifting when you add something. If my frame is lets say 200X200, if I want to insert a picture 200X200, this should fit the place but apparently it doesn't. Everything else gets shifted.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

when placing images, and if you want them to be in an exact location, you should consider to use lay-out tables to order everything like you want it to be

just choose the Layout tab and choose lay-outview, insert a table and in this table layout cells which will have different contents(cells for images,text etc.).
As you move on with your design, adjust the exact locations of each cell.

Thanks for your reply. I am not a web designer but would like to at lease for the sake of learning, try the right way. I wasn't sure that using lay-outs is a good practice. Did several tutorials from the dreamweaver which mentioned to use table cells.
