Does anyone have a suggestion for a good tool to monitor disk space? I need something better than a performance monitor alert. I'm looking for something quick that will send me an e-mail when the logical disk space is below a certain point.

Hello tsparham,

There are a couple of different tools that come to mind which can accomplish this but I would focus on SysTrack from Lakeside Software. SysTrack is an easy to use tool which can be used to monitor different system conditions; disk space, being one of them. The alerts can range from an audible alert, email, page, snmp, or pop-up message.

LOL, Microsoft MOM, that's like using a bazooka to shoot a fly Actually, if you have a server from any of the major vendors (IBM, Dell, HP) the management software that ships with these servers should have what you need without having to buy something else.

Try that first before buying anything.
