Greetings,

A while ago I enabled auditing on our main fileserver so that we have a complete record of who has accessed what/logged on etc. None of this information has ever really been required but due to company growth I would like to keep a record 'just in case'. The audit itself is fine, all of the information I could want is there (present in the security log) but due to the size of the logs I must regularly save and clear the list. What I would "like" to do is automate the process so that the logs are saved elsewhere and named appropriately.

So has anyone come across a tool or third party application that has this sort of functionality?

Thank you in advance.
Russell.

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

GFI has a product that will do that.

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Hi, lander215. Thank you for your reply. Do you perhaps recall the name of the product?

Russell.

Thank you very much, that's perfect.
