Event Log About Alpine 3808

When I check event log,it often shows

06/02/2003 03:59.16 <CRITORT> ERROR: Checksum Error on external port Slot 8 port 12, Previous=0x91, Current=0x99

what does it means...and what should i do to solve it?

Organise some down time the run extended diagnostics &quot;run diag exte&quot;. Once diag is completed &quot;show diag&quot;. This could be a SMMi or backplane fault.
