Event ID 9688

Over the weekend, I started getting this error. Apparently the logical size of my database is 16GB and is reaching the 18GB limit. Event ID 1221 says i have 3MB after online defrag. Is there anything I can do to reduce the current size of my database by having people delete emails and such?
Is this 3mb after online defrag a highly critical issue?

I know with sp2 you can adjust the limit up to 75 megs, but I do not have sp2 installed. If I install it, I must install on the front end exchange server as well correct?
Anything I should be worried up with a sp2 upgrade if that is the route I go?

Now I have consufed myself. If I have a 18GB limit, I must have sp2 because the previous versions had a limit of 16GB. I can not seem to find my exchange 2003 version anywhere. This is a ridiculous question, but where can I find if I have sp2 or not???

In Exchange System Manager right click server oject, select properties.

thank you....i do have sp2 so I will edit the registry and expand the limit. Phew!
