event id 9646 and mapi errors

I have several users that receive error messages in their outlook 2007 client:
Cannot read one instance of this recurring appointment.

Cannot expand the folder. Your server administrator has limited the number of items you can open simultaneously

Close any open appointments and try again, or recreate the appointment

These happen when searching, when opening Public folders, and looking at the calendar.

I created a new outlook profile, same thing, I upgraded to SP2, same thing.

I looked on the exchange 2007 server and saw event 9646 multiple times for this client.
Mapi session O=Orgname/cn=Recipients/cn=username" exceeded the maximum of 500 objects of type "objtFolder".

I followed some googled results I found, but nothing seems to work, I am unsure of how to resolve this issue. I have a few other users that I see in the event log with the same error. Any ideas?

Are you using a Blackberry Enterprise Server?
Are you using Mindset?

On the Exchange server, try typing:
netsh int ip set chimney diabled

but do NOT reboot. See if that fixes it. If that fixes it there is a permanent fix.

We do have a BES. No Mindset.

I have seen info about the chimney before, so I did what you requested, I will post back tomorrow and see if it works or not..

My user was able to browse and do things with out any errors coming up today, but when she tried to create a new PF, she received the error:

Cannot create the folder. Your server administrator has limited the number of items you can open simultaneously......

When she clicked OK, it didnt prompt her to exit outlook, the error disappeared and she continued. I looked in the logs, and the same 9646 error was there.
