I've been getting this error in my application event log consistently since I installed a new server and migrated my exchange over to it... Has anyone any idea what this means... I've also noticed that performance has quickly degraded and that STORE.EXE is taking up 786MB of my 1GB memory...

just a side note, i'm also getting slammed with the KLEZ virus.. NAV is deleting it, and i did a through search of my system and no sign of it...

Event ID 929.

I saw that, the service pack is installed and I ran the Winroute tool...

no missing connectors...

I see you have inetsrv running or being called, has the service started? If either yes or no try stopping and restarting it.
It is possible the virus corrupted something.

SP2 is installed...

it's not sucking up CPU, just memory. If i reboot my server, the memory goes back down, then creeps up the over the next day..

not sure if it's related to the error i'm getting

Have you got an answer to your problem? I have the same problem. I have 2 customer with exactly the same problem that you describe, they dont get the event id but i dont think that have anything to do with your memory problem. They are running MS SBS2000 SP2 and Exchange2000 SP2. When the server starts it takes about 5 hour and then the memory used by store.exe is over 800MB. I have tried everything thats posible to find in Microsofts Knowledge base, but there still a problem. I think this is a problem in Exechange 2000 but Microsoft wouldnt say it. I think the problem is in a public folder.

no resolution... microsoft says it's the way it's designed and that it will give up memory to any process that needs it...

hmmm . not convinced really, but don't know what else to do
