Am getting errors in app logs
event id 8194
source PolicyMaker Registry
The client-side extension could not remove machine policy for 'Domain Policy {9B38361D-6608-4B86-8909-8C9F092058D2}' because it failed with error code '0x8007000d The data is invalid.' See trace file for more details.

Above polciy - did a search in reg and is located under history.
Ran a rsop.msc and there is a error on computer configuration > error tab> Policy maker registry.

seems system is trying to remove policy.

started to happen when server was unstable.
this is a dc and checked other dc - no errors.
also
under rsop - properties - AD and sys vol revisions do not match up i.e AD 127. SYS VOL 117

applied logging..but
as per article

"Make sure that the Tracing option is enabled on the client computer. To do this, check for the tracing registry keys in the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Group Policy
Each CSE has an associated UID that is stored as a key in this subkey. For example, the UID of PolicyMaker Drive Maps Policy Processing is {1EA5E892-2292-438f-8D05-40E7B0007585}. Not every UID that is listed in this subkey is a PolicyMaker UID."

i cant find associated UID -9B38361D-6608-4B86-8909-8C9F092058D2 under HKLM\SW\Policies\Microsoft\windows\Group Policy

is that a concern ?
ran gpupdate and cant find log file on server.. also error still reporting on server
