Hello,
I changed the dns suffix of my exchange server.
The following error show up in my Application event log. Event id: 8063
Description:
Could not read the root entry on directory (name of server) Cannot access configuration information.
Do anyone knows a solution?

Gr,

It sounds like you tried to do a domain rename. Is this the case?

Hope this helps:

"Pete Maller (Last update 8/10/2005):
I experienced this error following the removal of a Windows 2000 Domain Controller which was the first DC in the Domain. I discovered that the removed DC was being referred to in the Exchange server Recipient Update Services. I opened the Exchange System Manager and selected the Recipient Update Services container, within Recipients. I right-clicked on each service, selected properties and chose a still existing Domain Controller. Following this, the error stopped.

Thanks, this works cbrunet17
Still i got one problem
