Event ID 7031 In Exchange 2000 Server

Good Morning all,
I have recieved this error on my exchange server 2000 twice during past week, basically some of the serivces in exchange plus the IIS service and

http://WWW service

stops suddenly and server logs event ID 7031. I have run a virus check and no problems there, I have also run the code worm utility by microsoft and no issues there so please help.

Haven't seen this problem..but there's a post SP3 hot fix for E2k (I think MS is calling it SP3.5).

Might want to give that a try.

Hi,

I've had this problem to, after some time I found the answer in the knowledge base in article Q819019.
I've ask MS to send the patch and installed it, the problem did not occur again.

I have had this problem resently

There is the post E2k SP3 rollup patch (approx 32Mb)

If you read the detailed list of what this patch is aimed at resolving, the event id 7031 in the Information Store is one of them.
