Event ID 4000

Hi, am using SMTP with IIS 5.0 on w2k avanced server.
I have configure my SMTP (hopefully right. I also have
MX record in my DNS zone. But when i try to send email, no email goes, and I get this error in Event viewer log file

Event ID 4000
source SMTPSVC
Description:
Message delivery to the remote domain 'hotmail.com' failed for the following reason: Unable to bind to the destination server in DNS.

I am quite new to SMTP, you assisiatnce will be appreciated.

I am looking for solutions to my SMTP/CDONTS problem which sounds like the problem you dscribed. Did you ever resolve the issue? If so, how?
