When new users start, Outlook 2000 is reconfigured for the new users mailbox. When this is done Exchange 5.5 produces a ton of these failure audits. Exchange still refers to the previous user's account as well. Everything work fine though. Here's an example of the failure audits:

VXD\RJACOBS was validated as /o=VXD/ou=VXD/cn=Recipients/cn=RJacobs but was unable to log on to /o=VXD/ou=VXD/cn=Recipients/cn=FullerC.

VXD\MLEEN was validated as /o=VXD/ou=VXD/cn=Recipients/cn=MLeen but was unable to log on to /o=VXD/ou=VXD/cn=Recipients/cn=KMizwicki.

On the client machine remove the existing email profile completely and rebuild a new one.

First make sure that you know your Exchange Server Name and what this particular email profile needs to have(address books, etc.)
Control Panel --> Mail icon -->"Show Profile" button under Services Tab.
Remove any existing profile.
Create a brand new profile.
*Also make sure that the only contacts associated with the new profile are his/her own, and not the previous owner.
