Hello

I'm using Windows 2000 sp4 on four of my five domain controllers.. I've been receiving this error in my event logs for like 5 months now and I just can't figure it out.. The weird thing is, it only happens durning the middle of the night! Like 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. So i'm starting to think it may be some kind of service error..

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Date: 4/6/2004
Time: 4:45:45 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. Return value (1359).

Anyone ever seen this?

I have also encounetered this error and resolved it by making sure that the "TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper" Service was running on all of my servers. Some were set to automatic and others to manual. After I started this service and set them all to automatic, error was fixed.
