I would like to know where I can find a more meaningful description of what event codes are and how to resolve the issue.

Specifically:
41550: The SM could not start nboms
41560: Service nboms has dies too many time
41505: Service nboms failed the sanity poll; rc=40606

Is there a source where you can figure out how to troubleshoot these errors?

Event Code: 41550

Severity Critical
Description The SM could not start the specified service.
Impact Not Applicable
Recovery Action Check the return codes and take one of the following actions:
(1) If the return code indicates that the service requires other services running, start the specified service.
(2) If the return code indicates that the service does not exist, install the service.
(3) If the return code indicates that a path is not found, locate the executable file.

(4) If the return code indicates that the service is already running, no action is required.
(5) If the problem persists, contact Nortel support.

Event Code: 41560

Severity Critical
Description The specified service has died too many times and will not be restarted.
Impact Not Applicable
Recovery Action Follow these steps:
(1) Check the event logs associated with the service at the time of this event.
(2) Resolve any problems indicated by the event logs.
(3) Start the service again.
(4) If the problem persists, contact your Nortel product distributor.

Event Code: 41505

Severity Major
Description The service exited unexpectedly.
Impact Not Applicable
Recovery Action Follow these steps.
(1) Restart the service. This may solve the problem. If it does not, go to step 2.
(2) Check the return code for more details.
(3) If the problem persists, contact your Nortel product distributor.
