Event button on Properties 1

hey all, I'm now starting my adventures in C# and it's quite different from what I'm used to...(networking)

can anyone answer this simple question on how to get this event button to show on the properties bar?

I'm having the hardest time getting this button to show up on my properties bar.
any ideas??

The icon should always be there but grayed out if you are not working with a GUI item.

For example: if you are in the Code View - you will not see the icon enabled.

if you have single clicked on the form in the Design View the icon should be enabled.

You are right, I also found out that I was starting VB Projects not C#. the event button is only available in C# and C++.
