I am getting hammered with system event 12294 with the following code:

Event Source: SAM
Event Category: None
Event ID: 12294
Date: 4/7/2004
Time: 11:28:34 AM
User: STORIS\Administrator
Computer: XSERVER
Description:
The SAM database was unable to lockout the account of ? due to a resource error, such as a hard disk write failure (the specific error code is in the error data) . Accounts are locked after a certain number of bad passwords are provided so please consider resetting the password of the account mentioned above.
Data:
0000: a5 02 00 c0 ¥..À

These events may be logged if immediate replication is triggered (for example, by an urgent replication for a user lockout condition) and collides with the local Active Directory update.

OR

If the remotely triggered AD update wins against the local AD update...you will get these events.

This can usually be fixed by applying the latest Service Pack.

Thanks Carl

Thanks Carl! I will try reapplying the SP tonight. I have managed to satabalize the system by loading a few new security fixes, so we will see what happens.

Thanks again.
