I have read a few entries regarding this particular issue, but have not been able to resolve this as of yet. We have a new PRI on our Definity V12 that seems to be working just fine. We are able to dial 7 digits within our local area code, no problem. We have two remote Magix systems that are connected to the Definity via TIE lines. Previously, on the old circuit the remote Magix users were also able to dial 7 digits to local numbers. Since the cut, they are no longer able to do so. We get the "Invalid IE Contents" event error. They are able to dial 10 digits, but 7 are no longer working. Someone on this forum had suggested putting an entry in the ISDN network screen using 3 for outgoing calls. That feature is not turned on in our system, so that option is not on the table.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a workaround? Is there something that has to be done on the Magix side?

The table to change is the isdn network-facilities table:

change isdn network-facilities Page 1 of 2

Facility Facility
Name Type Coding Parm Name Type Coding Parm
sub-operator 0 00110 mega800 1 00010

strip3 3 n n

Add the entry 'strip3' with a type of 3.

In the Route Pattern used for the outbound 7-digit calls add 'strip3' in the services/features field:

Kevin, I don't have the ability to change to isdn network facilities table. It's ticked N in my software. I can't modify.
