wondered if anyone out there can help?
on restarting our mail server we get the following error messages in eventlog:
The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance.
The MAPI provider failed.
Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
ID no: 8004011d-0526-00000000
The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
Your profile is not configured.
An unexpected, unknown error has occurred.

ID no: 8004011c-0521-00000000
INTERNALLY our mail IS working fine, we are also RECEIVING external mail perfectly ok. the problem is that we can no longer send to external addresses, messages just sit in the smtp queue with a status of retry until they time out. We have checked and do not appear to be blacklisted anywhere.
any thoughts greatly appreciated.
