Hi I have created a Quark doc which needed a Euro symbol to be inserted.

I could not do this using my prefered font "frutiger" at point size 7 but I found that I could do it using "Helvetica" at point size 9.

The problem is that when I print this to a postscript file
and then distill it in Acrobat the Euro symbol is removed?

Can anyone help!

You've stumbled onto a font version issue. Go to Adobe.com and download their Euro fonts. There is a screen and printer set that produces the Euro symbol no matter what key you use. Activate that font on the Mac and the Distiller server and it'll put the font into the PDF.

You can download the euro fonts from adobe.
Place them in the fonts folder in the system.
Also add them to the distiller machine it should work

Thanks - ill get to grips with fonts one of these days!
