ETL and MQ/messaging

Hi - I was wondering if anyone knew a use for when it would be useful to combine etl with a messaging tool such as IBM MQ? Has anyone done this? - Thanks

I Think IBM MQ series is used to retriving the data, this is data is contains messages.

I'm in a project (just starting) where I've to create 2 workflows with MQ. 1 will send messages to MQ and the other will retrieve from MQ.

The messages will have XML inside, and the workflows will run continuosly.

I'm also interested about more information on this subject.
