Hello,
I am currently working on trying to ethernet-enable a MIRAN III card on an Option 61C. I have set the IP Parameters using the Management Console, and rebooted the card. I have connected a working patch cord from the Audio Adapter to the C-LAN switch. One thing I did notice is that the link light on the switch will not light. I have tried to cross-over to the MIRAN with my laptop, but can never get a link there either. Is this a faulty Audio Adapter, or is the actual card at fault? I have also moved the card to other slots, but to no avail. Thanks in advance!

If the IPE chassis is the old NT8D37, then the MIRAN card have to be set in slot 0, 4, 8 or 12.
If new NT8D37, then all slots are avaliables.
When configuring Ethernet parameters, did you set to "static" the value for ethernet method instead of "bootp"?

dlesap,
Thanks for the reply, I will be on-site tomorrow, and will check the chassis. The MIRAN card is in slot 8 already, so I guess that won't matter. I did set the IP type to static as well.
