ethernet and mac address

I am new user of solaris, pls let me know how to find out ethernet address of the machine and aslo mac address of the machine. Thanks

Do you mean that ethernet and mac address is the same thing ?

Yes the Ethernet Address (UNIX) and Mac Address (Windows) are the same thing. They are the hardware address of the network card.

To answer your question, find it with "ifconfig -a"
