ESXI server upload problem

Dear expert,

I tried to upload a 2.5G file into my EXSI server within the same network by using winscp.
It took more than 5 hrs. to complete with avg. speed 2xxk.

Is there any ways to increase the speed?

What speed NICs are the client and server on? ESXi isn't the fastest when transferring stuff, however 5 hours seems excessive..

My ESXi 6.5 servers are all 1Gbps connected (4 x 1Gbps NICs each) and even with a 100Mbps connected client I am seeing faster transfers than this.

Is there an anti-virus program running? They sometimes slow things down by check each file transferred for viruses.
