Need to send incoming group 0 calls to Auto Attendant, only when night service button on main answer station is in night mode. System is in IP mode. I have a set a hunt group night service button on ext 201, action data set to 250. I have a hunt group 250 set up and have tried many different ways to go from there to no avail.

Make a short code to go to the auto attendant: *601/Auto Attendant/AA:menuNight
Make a user, and forward unconditionally (including hunt group calls) to that shortcode
Make a sequential hunt group, include in it as the only user, the user you make above
Make this sequential hunt group the night service group for your hunt group Main

Thanks TouchToneTommy, I'm new to creating a short code. Code:*601, Feature;selected Auto Attendant, Telephone number;AA:AutoAtt1(the name I gave the auto attendant), Line group still says; 0. Can you see the error? Also I can not dial directly my hunt group or the phantom forwarded unconditional ext, both are immediately busy I suspect my short code?

Can you dial *601 and have the AA answer? If not, that's the first place to start. The name of the specified auto attendant must be exact.

Once that works, can you dial the user that is forwarded to the short code, and have the AA answer?

Now can you dial the hunt group that has the user that is forwarded to the short code and have the AA answer?

Can you put the original hunt group in night service, and dial it and have the AA answer?

One piece at a time....
